· Founder story

The hardest cases are the ones you don't see in time.

Roslyn grew up close to the operational reality of Army life — where readiness is not a slogan but a discipline. Years in teaching trained her to take complex things and make them understandable, calmly, for the people who need to act.

Zayra began with a simple, stubborn observation: the heart almost always changes gradually before it changes catastrophically. We have the sensors, the models and the clinical knowledge to see those changes. We just hadn't built the system to take them seriously, calmly, at scale.

Zayra is that system — built by people who believe early visibility, governed interpretation and human triage belong together.

Because the hardest part of this problem is not technology — it is decision responsibility. Most companies avoided this space because it sits before hospitals, where liability is highest; it requires clinical governance, not automation; it demands restraint, not alerts; and it scales slowly at first, not virally. Zayra solves what others avoided: trusted decisions under uncertainty. That requires architecture, ethics and patience — not just AI.

Trust, embedded over time. Specifically: clinician trust, regulatory acceptance, workflow integration, economic dependence and institutional references. Features can be copied. Trust cannot be rushed.

Because Zayra does not threaten their authority. It does not diagnose. It does not automate decisions. It does not flood them with alerts. It brings them better information earlier, then steps back. Clinicians adopt tools that make them better — not tools that try to replace them.

Lower than most AI healthcare companies. Why: no autonomous diagnosis, human-in-the-loop by design, transparent reasoning, clear accountability. Zayra aligns with FDA, CE and CDS frameworks for Clinical Decision Support — and we are built for scrutiny, not loopholes.

Continuous, clinician-governed decision support for high-risk lives. Not alerts. Not reports. Not diagnostics. We sell earlier, trusted decisions that reduce catastrophic outcomes and costs.

By designing silence as a feature. Zayra filters aggressively upstream, requires pattern persistence, uses baseline deviation rather than thresholds, and only escalates after clinician review. Most data never becomes action — and that restraint is why the action is trustworthy.

No — and we deliberately do not. Zayra does not diagnose disease. It supports earlier escalation decisions under clinician governance. This is the difference between supporting judgement and replacing it.

No system can promise zero false negatives — not even hospitals. What matters is comparative risk reduction. Zayra reduces risk versus symptom-based escalation, consumer wearables and threshold-based monitoring. We audit adverse outcomes, continuously refine models and preserve clinician oversight. This is risk managed, not denied.
